Philippine airport seeks owner of clutch bag with P100,000 cash left behind

Officials from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) are seeking the owner of a clutch bag containing ₱100,000 in cash and important documents left behind at Laguindingan Airport.

Jonie Naldo, a member of the airport’s passenger services and intelligence team, found the unattended bag during a routine inspection. Following protocol, security personnel and a K-9 unit were called to inspect the bag, which was confirmed to contain a passport, identification cards, a passbook, and cash.

CAAP spokesperson Eric Apolonio stated that the passenger could retrieve their belongings at the CAAP Security and Intelligence Office in Laguindingan.
