The Philippines has been named the third friendliest country in the world, according to the annual InterNations Expat Insider Survey. The recognition, highlighted by the official Facebook page of The Philippines, celebrates the nation’s renowned warmth and hospitality.
Filipinos are widely recognized for their friendly nature, often greeting others as if they are long-time friends and finding reasons to smile even in challenging times. This innate charm contributed to the Philippines earning a top spot in the survey, which included responses from over 12,000 expatriates worldwide.
The survey, conducted by InterNations, assessed factors such as the ease of integrating into the local community, openness of the people, and overall quality of life for expats. The Philippines stood out for its welcoming environment, approachable locals, and a culture that fosters genuine connections.
InterNations, a global network supporting expatriates since 2007, releases the Friendliest Country List each year to provide insights for those considering living abroad.
