Apple has announced plans to open its fifth retail store in the UAE in 2025, with the new location set to be in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi.
Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, highlighted the UAE’s vibrant community of creators, innovators, and entrepreneurs as key factors behind the company’s continued growth in the region. “We’re excited to keep growing our teams, supporting local businesses, and strengthening our ties with our customers here,” he said.
The new store aims to provide a dynamic shopping and learning environment for customers across the region while showcasing Apple’s latest products. Cook expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We’re thrilled to open our newest store in Abu Dhabi and to keep sharing the magic of Apple with even more people.”
Apple has invested over AED 6 billion in the UAE over the past five years, contributing to the creation of more than 38,000 jobs and supporting local businesses. The Emirati developer community has also seen significant growth, earning nearly AED 5 billion through the App Store since its launch, with revenues increasing by over 750% since 2019.
