The grand opening, held on December 1, 2024, marked a significant milestone for the brand as it also launched its first franchised branch.
Located at S5 Building, Shop No. 4, Al Badaa Road, Al Satwa, the new Afford’Acup is poised to cater to more Filipino food enthusiasts and introduce the rich flavors of Pampanga to a wider audience. This expansion reinforces the brand’s commitment to providing a taste of home to Filipinos living abroad while showcasing Kapampangan culinary heritage to diverse communities in Dubai.
The opening of this new branch celebrates another achievement for Afford’Acup — its first franchise deal. The franchisees, Mr. Jairus and Mrs. Dorothy Marcelo, are Filipino entrepreneurs eager to carry forward the brand’s vision and legacy.
Founded in September 2022 by Cris Sotto, Ramona Mariano-Sotto, Aiza Mariano, and Jovito Mariano, Afford’Acup began as a humble kiosk and has grown into a beloved dining destination in Dubai. The restaurant is celebrated for its menu of Filipino classics such as sisig, kare-kare, and halo-halo, each prepared with traditional methods and ingredients that stay true to its Kapampangan roots.
