Temperatures dip to 8°C in UAE mountains as fair weather prevails

The UAE is experiencing cooler weather, with temperatures in mountainous regions dropping to as low as 8°C, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

While the day will generally be fair to partly cloudy, light to moderate winds are expected across the country. The NCM has issued a yellow alert for fog in certain areas, warning of reduced horizontal visibility that could deteriorate further in affected regions.

In major cities, temperatures are expected to peak at 28°C in Abu Dhabi and 27°C in Dubai, while the minimum could fall to 17°C and 19°C, respectively. Humidity levels will range between 35 and 75 percent in Abu Dhabi and 35 to 65 percent in Dubai, with the likelihood of fog or mist formation during the night and early Friday morning, particularly in western areas.

Seas will remain slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, making it a stable day for marine activities.
