Priced below the original retail value, the exclusive drop attracted massive crowds, including residents and tourists eager to grab the limited-edition sneakers.
A Filipino expat, who was among those patiently waiting in line, shared that the excitement was palpable, with fans of the brand forming queues that stretched across sections of the mall. “It was worth the wait,” he said, noting the shoes’ unique design and the opportunity to own a piece of Travis Scott’s iconic collaboration with Nike.
According to the sneaker retailer Mad Kicks’ website, a pair of the Nike Jordan Jumpman Jack TR Travis Scott typically retails for Dh2,850, making the discounted price a significant draw for fans.
This isn’t the first time Dubai has seen such enthusiasm for limited-edition Nike drops. In September, a similar scene unfolded at Dubai Design District, where hundreds of residents and tourists lined up for the exclusive release of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Medium Olive.’
