Super Typhoon Pepito, internationally known as Man-Yi, has prompted major disruptions in flight operations across the Philippines. Cebu Pacific (CEB) released an advisory detailing flight cancellations as the storm looms over north and central Luzon, threatening heavy rainfall, strong winds, and reduced visibility in key areas, including Manila and Clark.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Super Typhoon Pepito is expected to pass directly over north and central Luzon in the coming days. The resulting adverse weather conditions will impact flight schedules, slow down departure and arrival rates, and extend ramp activities for ground personnel at affected airports.
