Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced extended operating hours for the Metro, running from 5 AM on Saturday, November 16, to 2 AM on Sunday, November 17. This adjustment aims to accommodate attendees of the Emirates Loves India Day event.
The UAE will join the Indian community in celebrating Diwali with a grand event at Zabeel Park on November 16. Expected to attract around 40,000 visitors, the celebration will highlight the rich diversity of Indian culture with various cultural, musical, and artistic performances. A segment honoring the achievements of Indians in the UAE is also planned.
The event, starting at 11 AM and ending at 11 PM, will feature free concerts by renowned artists such as Badshah, Jonita Gandhi, and the indie rock band Avial.
RTA has also confirmed that parking spaces around Zabeel Park will be accessible from 11 AM to midnight on the event day. Free shuttle buses will transport attendees between the parking lots at Al Wasl Football Club and Boom Village and the event venue.
