Cebu Pacific is offering discounted flights for those planning to visit Sapporo, Japan. From November 13 to 19, travelers can book flights from Manila to the “City of Snow” for as low as P1,488 one-way base fare. The travel period is set from January 16 to March 29, 2025.
Starting January 16, Cebu Pacific will operate flights to Sapporo three times a week—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—making it the only airline with direct flights between Manila and Sapporo. The budget carrier highlighted that visitors can experience winter activities such as skiing, sledding, snowman building, and enjoying the Sapporo Snow Festival during the early months of the year.
The airline, which now flies to 27 international destinations in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, reported strong travel demand, doubling its net income in the first quarter. For the nine-month period ending September, Cebu Pacific posted P74.5 billion in revenues, an 11% increase from the previous year, driven by 17.5 million passengers—a 13% rise from the same period in 2023.
However, the company’s net income declined by 33% to P3.4 billion, attributed to increased expenses related to new aircraft purchases. By September, the Gokongwei-led airline expanded its fleet to 91 aircraft, 10 more than last year, and invested in 10 additional spare engines to support growth and enhance operational reliability.
