New access points in Al Jaddaf set to improve traffic and reduce travel time

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to improve the flow of traffic in the Al Jaddaf area by expanding access points and roads. The enhancements will introduce new lanes across four strategic locations.

According to a Khaleej Times report, the developments include an additional lane on Sheikh Rashid Road leading to Oud Metha Road, a newly constructed entrance from Sheikh Rashid Road near Al Jaddaf Metro Station, and service road extensions on both Sheikh Rashid Road and Ibn Al Zahrawi Street. Furthermore, the interchange between Sheikh Rashid Road and Oud Metha Road will see expanded service roads.

According to an RTA social media post, these upgrades aim to ease traffic congestion, shorten travel time, and improve the overall transportation experience for residents and visitors alike.
