Sisters reunite in UAE after 30 years of separation, thanks to UAE police

Two sisters separated for three decades have embraced each other once again, thanks to Fujairah Police’s effort. A moving video shared by authorities captures the emotional moment as the sisters, overcome with joy and tears, reunited in the UAE.

The sisters’ lives diverged when the older sibling married and moved to the UAE, while the younger sister and their parents continued living in Egypt. Following the death of their father, the younger sibling and her mother relocated to another city in Egypt, where her mother later passed away. Years later, when the older sister visited her family home in Egypt, she found it abandoned, with no forwarding information, and returned to the UAE, uncertain if she would ever see her family again.

Despite the odds, the younger sister held onto hope. Determined to locate her sibling, she traveled to the UAE and immediately sought assistance from the Fujairah Police. After hearing her story, authorities swiftly identified the whereabouts of her sister’s family, managing to reunite the siblings within minutes.

The sisters expressed profound gratitude to the Fujairah Police and Dibba Police Department for their quick response and commitment to reuniting them. Colonel Saif Rashid Al-Zahmi, Director of the Dibba Police Department, remarked that the reunion was a testament to the department’s dedication to humanitarian work, highlighting the pride he felt for his team’s efforts to bring the family together.
