Global Village, one of Dubai’s top attractions, announced that it will provide free breast cancer screenings for women on October 26 and 27, 2024.
The screenings, according to a Khaleej Times report, will take place in partnership with the Pink Caravan initiative, run by the Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP), as part of early activities leading up to Breast Cancer Awareness Month in November.
Female visitors to Global Village can receive free consultations and breast exams during the two-day event, following a similar initiative held last year. FOCP has been actively raising breast cancer awareness through free screenings and educational workshops across the UAE.
Season 29 of Global Village began on October 16, 2024, and will run until May 11, 2025.
