Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach to host auction of personal memorabilia for charity

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is set to auction some of her most memorable items from her journey to the crown, with all proceeds going to support the Youth Center for Taguig. The exclusive auction, titled “Love Gala, Eternal Elegance: A Night of Timeless Love,” will take place on December 3, 2024.

Among the valuable items up for grabs is the silver off-shoulder dress Wurtzbach wore when she was announced as a Top 15 finalist in the Miss Universe competition. Other notable memorabilia include her sashes from her time as a Binibining Pilipinas and Miss Universe candidate, as well as personal notebooks that capture her thoughts and strategies leading to her victory.

“I’m excited about the exclusive auction I will host featuring iconic memorabilia from my journey as Miss Universe 2015,” Pia shared on Instagram, highlighting that the auction’s proceeds will support the Youth Center for Taguig. The center aims to provide essential services for young people, particularly in education, HIV prevention, and treatment.

“The City of Taguig is committed to prioritizing HIV through its various initiatives in the STI, HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Program. I can’t wait for this highly anticipated event,” she added, urging everyone to mark their calendars.

Wurtzbach, who won Miss Universe on her third attempt in 2015, hopes the event will contribute to her legacy of advocacy and lasting impact beyond the crown.
