The Philippines will host the inaugural FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup from November 21 to December 7, 2025. FIFA officially announced the news on Thursday.
During a press conference on Friday, Philippine Football Federation (PFF) president John Gutierrez shared that preparations are well underway for the global tournament. “It’s an exciting time, especially for futsal enthusiasts,” Gutierrez said, noting that several national team players have committed to joining the women’s futsal squad.
In addition to the Philippines, New Zealand has also qualified for the tournament. The PFF is currently considering two potential venues for the event, though no final decision has been made yet.
