Private sector educators in Dubai can secure Golden Visas for excellence in teaching

Starting October 15, 2024, exceptional educators in Dubai’s private education sector can apply for Golden Visas, according to an announcement from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

According to a Khaleej Times report, this initiative recognizes outstanding teachers who have excelled in their roles, contributing significantly to the education sector through innovation, leadership, and a commitment to student success.

The Golden Visa program is open to educators working in early childhood centers, private schools, and international higher education institutions. It aims to reward educators who have shown remarkable achievements in improving student outcomes, elevating the quality of education, and making a positive impact on the educational community.

Eligibility is extended to school principals, leaders, early childhood center managers, teachers, and academic heads in higher education institutions. Applicants must meet criteria such as exceptional academic achievements, leadership impact, and contributions to research, among other requirements. Successful educators will be nominated by their schools or institutions and evaluated by a dedicated committee, with results coordinated through KHDA.
