Rolando Plaza, known as “Rastaman,” has filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for a Senate seat, continuing his political ambitions. Plaza, who describes himself as “half-human, half-zombie,” submitted his COC at the Manila Hotel Tent City on Saturday.
This isn’t Plaza’s first attempt to run for senator. He previously filed for candidacy in 2019 but was disqualified for being declared a nuisance candidate. Plaza gained overnight viral attention following an interview where he made his now-famous claim of being part-human and part-zombie.
