A 50-year-old Bangladeshi delivery rider based in Abu Dhabi, Abul Monsur Abdul Sabur, has won the Dh20 million grand prize in the latest Big Ticket draw. Abul had been purchasing raffle tickets since 2007 and finally struck gold when he and his friends bought five tickets, with one of them turning out to be the winner.
Abul was in disbelief after receiving the life-changing call, expressing his shock and joy at the unexpected win. He plans to use the prize money to support his family and fulfill his long-time dream of starting a business. “I’m so ecstatic right now that I’m at a loss for words,” he said in a Khaleej Times report.
In addition to the grand prize, Big Ticket is offering a daily draw for a 24-karat gold bar throughout October. Every ticket purchased from October 2 onwards will enter participants into the daily gold bar draws, as well as the upcoming Dh20 million grand prize draw on November 3.
Participants also have a chance to win luxury cars, including a Range Rover Velar, valued at Dh355,000, and a BMW 840i worth Dh470,000. Tickets can be bought online or at Zayed International and Al Ain Airports.
