Businesswoman and content creator Rosmarie “Rosmar” Tan-Pamulaklakin officially filed her candidacy for councilor of the first district of Manila on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Known for her successful beauty and skincare business and vibrant online presence, Rosmar hopes to extend her reach in public service.
In an interview, Rosmar shared that her decision to run was primarily driven by the opportunity to help more people. “Wala naman po talaga ako kasing balak. Nagkataon lang po ngayon nakumbinsi po nila ako dahil sabi po, mas marami daw po akong matutulungan kapag nakaposisyon,” she explained.
Rosmar gained popularity as a social media influencer and entrepreneur, with her skincare brand, Rosmar Skin Essentials, becoming a household name in the Philippines.
