NAIA parking fees to increase starting October 1 under new management.

The New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC), led by San Miguel Corporation (SMC), has released an official advisory announcing updates to the parking rates at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). These changes, which will take effect on October 1, 2024, are part of the ongoing modernization efforts to improve airport facilities and services under the new management.

The new parking rates, detailed in a memo dated September 30, 2024, reflect increased fees across various vehicle types. For cars, the first two hours will now cost Php 50, with succeeding hours charged at Php 25 per hour. Motorcycles will be charged Php 20 for the first two hours and Php 10 per hour thereafter. Buses, meanwhile, will see a starting rate of Php 100 for the first two hours and Php 50 for each additional hour. Overnight parking fees have also been adjusted, with cars now charged Php 1,200 for a 24-hour period, motorcycles at Php 480, and buses at Php 2,400.

In a statement, NNIC General Manager Angelito A. Alvarez emphasized that these adjustments are essential for maintaining and upgrading airport infrastructure. “These adjustments are necessary to ensure continued maintenance and improvements to our facilities,” the advisory read.

NAIA’s new management, which officially took over operations earlier this month as part of a P144 billion 15-year concession agreement, aims to transform the airport into a world-class facility by increasing its capacity and improving overall passenger experience.
