Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee, who is currently in France for the 2024 Paris Fashion Week, expressed her disappointment on social media after discovering that her car was stolen in the Philippines. According to Dee, the vehicle has since been recovered.
In an Instagram post, Dee revealed that a “regular creative and his girlfriend,” who previously worked for her and lived in one of her Manila apartments, admitted responsibility for the theft. She expressed her sadness over the betrayal from people she trusted.
“It’s honestly so unfortunate when you trust, forgive, and build people up only for them to go behind you and prioritize their own personal agendas,” Dee said, adding that long-time supporters might already know who the individuals are but encouraged them to stay calm.
Dee, 29, mentioned that she is currently addressing the situation “internally” but warned that she may take legal action if her properties and other valuables are not returned. “If my deliverables…aren’t returned, then my hand will be forced to take their names and this story to the press,” she stated.
The beauty queen reminded her followers to be cautious about whom they trust and urged them to share her experience to prevent others from going through the same.
Dee is currently in Paris for Fashion Week, where she has been seen with Heart Evangelista, Pia Wurtzbach, and other celebrities. She also recently opened Michael Cinco’s show at The Westin Paris – Vendome.
