Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is set to make history as the first Filipina to walk in L’Oreal’s Paris Fashion Week runway show, titled “Le Défilé ‘Walk Your Worth.'” The event will take place at Place de l’Opéra in Paris on Monday at 8:30 p.m. (Tuesday, 2:30 a.m. Manila time).
Pia will represent the Philippines alongside international stars such as Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne, who are also L’Oreal Paris ambassadors. The show, a yearly celebration of empowerment and diversity, highlights the brand’s ambassadors and their message of self-worth and beauty.
This significant milestone for Pia comes after her recent recognition as Bulgari’s global brand ambassador and being named Global Fashion Influencer of the Year at the EMIGALA Awards in May. Pia has also been acknowledged by Lefty and Launchmetrics as one of the top celebrities generating the highest media values during Milan Fashion Week.
