The actress and fashion icon posted footage of models walking for Milan-based brand Jil Sander on her Instagram on September 18. In her caption, Evangelista highlighted her videography, stating, “Curious corners, clean lines, maximum impact,” adding a camera emoji followed by the phrase, “Yes. Video by yours truly!”
While her caption drew laughs from her followers, some felt that the message had an underlying “shade,” which they deemed unnecessary. Evangelista’s latest post follows a previous statement where she noted that one of her Milan Fashion Week videos was “not edited,” sparking further online speculation.
Coincidentally, Evangelista’s remarks came after fellow fashion week regular Pia Wurtzbach was accused of “faking” her attendance at a show during New York Fashion Week. Wurtzbach faced criticism for posting a video of the show she missed, which she later credited to another fashion page. She explained her absence was due to traffic and shared the video to support the brand.
Although Evangelista did not name Wurtzbach directly, netizens have been quick to draw connections between the two, speculating about an alleged feud. The rumored rift reportedly began when Wurtzbach hired Evangelista’s former glam team. However, both parties have yet to address the issue publicly.
