Jhong Hilario, known for his role as the “Sample King” on “It’s Showtime,” has recently completed his graduate studies with high honors. The actor and dancer earned his Master’s Degree in Public Administration with Highest Merit from World Citi Colleges, which has several campuses across the Philippines.
Photos shared on his daughter Sarina’s Instagram page showed Jhong proudly wearing his graduation toga alongside his wife, Maia Azores, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).
Jhong’s academic achievement comes after he graduated magna cum laude from Arellano University in 2023 with a degree in political science at the age of 46. Apart from his career in entertainment, he is also a councilor for Makati City’s First District.
Jhong Hilario joins a growing list of celebrities, including Geneva Cruz, Dingdong Dantes, Ruffa Gutierrez, Juancho Trivino, and Bogart the Explorer, who have chosen to return to school and earn their degrees later in life.
