Ajman Police have arrested two Asian nationals on charges of trading and storing 797,555 e-cigarettes without a license and evading taxes.
Acting on a report, authorities quickly formed a team and raided a villa where the e-cigarettes were stored. The raid uncovered five rooms filled with e-cigarettes from various companies. The individuals, identified as M. Sh. N, in his 40s, and M. Sh. H, in his 30s, were taken into custody and referred to the Federal Prosecution for tax evasion.
According to a Khaleej Times report, Ajman Police urge the public to purchase goods only from approved locations and to report any suspicious activities. They highlighted the health risks associated with smoking and reiterated their commitment to addressing tax evasion and ensuring national security.
