The Philippine Business Council Dubai and Northern Emirates (PBC-DNE) has successfully launched its new educational initiative, Chat PBC, designed to foster collaboration and growth among individuals, businesses, and communities. The inaugural session took place on May 25th, featuring a notable lineup of speakers.

The event included addresses from prominent figures such as Mr. Ishwar Chugani, CEO & Managing Director of Giordano Middle East; Ms. Joanna Ramos, Chief Heart Officer of Cultivate Brands and Founder of Thriving Filipina Circle; Mr. Edwin Duria, CEO & Managing Director of Play Middle East and Multi-Awarded BNI Director; and Ms. Georgina Kelly, Strategic Branding Expert, Mentor, and Speaker. Additionally, the session was graced by the presence of Consul General Marford Angeles and Vice Consul Jim Jimeno.

Aspiring entrepreneurs benefited from the insights shared by these esteemed speakers and had the opportunity to network with established business owners, former EduBiz speakers, and members of the PBC-DNE Board of Directors.

The PBC-DNE extends heartfelt thanks to the Masterclass team led by Director of Legal and Education Atty. Rowena Aggabao, and Event Director JM Avelino. Facilitators Michael da Costa and Katrina Carino were also acknowledged for their contributions, along with the event sponsors.

Attendees are encouraged to look forward to future Chat PBC sessions, which promise to deliver even more valuable topics to aid their entrepreneurial endeavors.

Atty. Rowena Aggabao, Chat PBC Committee Head and Director for Legal and Education at PBC-DNE, emphasized the platform’s purpose: “Chat PBC, which also stands for Chatting People, Business and Community, is a platform for education and collaboration to go hand-in-hand. Our goal is to educate and connect through simple conversation. Every relationship starts with a chat. Through these chats, knowledge is shared, and the recipient learns and feels empowered. After all, knowledge is a gift and a blessing meant to be shared.”

The PBC-DNE, established in 2001, is a non-profit organization recognized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It aims to connect, educate, and advocate for Filipino professionals and the business community in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, promoting Filipino culture and values while making a positive global impact.
