Dominique Roque has updated his mobile phone wallpaper following his breakup with former fiancee Bea Alonzo, indicating he’s moving on from the past relationship.
In a recent interaction with journalists, Roque was prompted to reveal whether he still kept Alonzo’s photo as his wallpaper. “Wala, iba na,” Roque responded, highlighting the change.
He jokingly searched for his phone to show the new wallpaper, realizing he didn’t have it with him.
“I’m OK. I’m happy, actually. Everything is OK,” said Roque, when asked about his current state.
The actor has been keeping himself occupied with work, travel, and hobbies since the breakup.
The day following the social media buzz about Roque’s phone wallpaper, Alonzo removed their joint photos from her Instagram, including the breakup announcement they shared on February 11.
However, she has retained some images taken by Roque, crediting him in the captions.
Despite the absence of direct interactions, Roque still shows subtle engagement with Alonzo’s life, liking some of her recent Instagram posts. Both Alonzo and Roque still follow each other on the platform.
The couple, who went public with their relationship in 2021 and got engaged two years later, announced the termination of their engagement earlier this year through a joint statement, citing the decision as tough and influenced by “many speculations, questions, and insults.”
