Ivana Alawi surprised her mother, Fatima, with P2 million cash. The touching moment was part of a family trip to Pampanga for a fishing activity, as featured in her latest YouTube vlog.
The celebration included a unique twist where Fatima earned P200,000 for each fish she caught during their day at the farm. She impressively managed to catch 10 fish, totaling the cash gift to P2 million.
Ivana expressed her thoughts on appreciating mothers, saying, “Kailangan talaga nating suklian ang kabutihan ng ating mga ina. Hindi ko sinasabing magbigay kayo ng ilang milyon or whatever. Kung paano po kayo magmahal, kung ano ang malapit sa puso niyo, make sure to make your mom feel special today—every day.” She further emphasized the importance of cherishing mothers while they are still around: “Habang nandito sila sa ating mundo, dapat talaga pinapahalagahan natin sila, and dapat iniingatan natin sila, kung ano ‘yung care na binigay nila sa’tin nung tayo ay bata ay suklian naman natin sila.”
Apart from the cash, Fatima also received a variety of gifts from her children, including white shoes, flowers, chocolates, cupcakes, and a special luggage that contained the cash prize. The family’s collaborative effort made the fishing game enjoyable, and Fatima’s success was met with joy and support from her children, Mona, Hash, and Amira.
Reflecting on her mother’s unwavering support during her toughest times, Ivana added, “Sobrang tutok siya sa’min, inalagaan niya kami noong mga bumabagsak ako na moments.”
Fatima shared a message of encouragement to all mothers: “Keep up the good work kasi alam kong pinakamahirap na trabaho ang nanay. Basta itanim niyo lang nang maganda, maganda rin ang ani.”
This generous gesture is not the first time Ivana has shown her deep appreciation for her mother. In 2021, she gave Fatima P1 million for her birthday, continuing a tradition of grand, heartfelt gifts.
