Abu Dhabi and Dubai brace for rising temperatures as NCM warns of rainy clouds in some areas

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts a generally fair and partly cloudy day across the region on Friday, May 3. However, residents should anticipate the possibility of rainy clouds appearing over eastern and southern areas.

According to the NCM, the night is expected to be humid, with Saturday morning following suit due to a gradual increase in temperature.

Temperatures are projected to reach up to 38ºC in Abu Dhabi and 35ºC in Dubai.

Additionally, the weather department advises that light to moderate winds may blow dust and sand over some areas.

As for maritime conditions, the sea is expected to be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
