Over 100 academic, government, and industry experts from all over the world will gather in Cebu City, Philippines for the much-anticipated ICONRES2024 (International Conference for Researchers) on May 17 to 19, 2024. As a platform for intellectual exchange and collaboration, this 3-day congress of foreign and domestic researchers aims to formulate action plans based on innovative practices and visionary projects worldwide.
Anchored on the theme “Synergistic Solutions for Sustainability,” the event will discuss scholarly insights and initiatives from students, educators, civil servants, business leaders, and the concerned public and private sectors. Conference chair Dr. Gianne RV Antonio eagerly announced the lineup of confirmed top-notch speakers from Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Presenters from Argentina, India, China, Australia, and the Philippines, among others, are also expected to participate in this hybrid multidisciplinary conference.
American entrepreneur and leadership coach Akili Polee will deliver his keynote address highlighting the importance of people skills, talent management, and market research in the quest for sustainability. London-based teacher, artist, and author Nikita Cattermole will inspire participants through her pedagogical methodologies grounded on artistic expression and humanistic approaches. Meanwhile, university professors and research specialists Dr. Wan Solihah of Malaysia and Dr. Anthika Manowong of Thailand will elaborate on their research outputs geared toward sustainable practices in their respective countries.
“Our mission to create inclusive, equitable, and sustainable communities can be achieved through education and research,” Philippine Pedagogical Innovations and Transformation (PPIT) president Dr. Rouel Longinos asserted. Guided by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as targets for this intellectual assembly, PPIT executive director Dr. Maristela Remitar pledged that “Prioritizing compassion and unity shapes a future of shared prosperity and dignity for all.”
