As the temperature in the UAE starts to rise, signaling the approach of the hotter months, one of Dubai’s most cherished attractions, Global Village, is preparing to close its doors for the season on April 28, 2024. Having opened six months ago, this unique cultural, entertainment, and shopping destination has once again been a magnet for millions of visitors from around the globe.
Global Village offers a multitude of attractions, ranging from the adrenaline-inducing House of Fear, considered the region’s scariest haunted house, to family-friendly experiences like Ripley’s Believe It or Not! and Digger’s Lab for kids. This year, the venue has added a new mini-golf attraction with two courses, including an 18-hole course lit by neon lights, and Mini World, showcasing miniaturized iconic attractions from across the globe.
Food enthusiasts have a plethora of options to explore, from Happiness Street and Railway Market to the Floating Market and Road to Asia, offering culinary delights from countries such as Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia. The entertainment lineup is equally impressive, featuring everything from the Cyber City Stunt Show to regular firework displays every weekend.
Adding to this season’s highlights, Swedish music icon Zara Larsson is set to perform on April 18, 2024, with the concert ticket included in the standard entry fee, offering an incredible value for attendees.
For those observing Ramadan, Global Village has extended its operating hours from 6 pm to 2 am daily. Moreover, visitors looking for convenient transportation options can take advantage of the resumed public bus services by Dubai’s Road Transport Authority (RTA), making the journey to Global Village both affordable and hassle-free.
