actress Dimples Romana shared that her 20-year-old daughter, Callie, has achieved her dream of becoming a licensed commercial pilot. The proud mother took to Instagram on Wednesday, Feb. 28, to share the joyous news along with photos of Callie at her aviation school in Australia.
“So our child number one finally completed her flying licenses yesterday. All the way from the land down under,” Romana captioned the post. “Finally, a licensed commercial pilot!”
Romana praised her daughter for her dedication and hard work, calling her a “rockstar” and expressing pride in her accomplishments. “You’re making dad Boyet Ahmee and I look so darn good! We are proud and humbled,” she added.
Reflecting on the journey, Romana highlighted the sacrifices and challenges Callie faced to pursue her “ultimate dream” of flying. She hopes Callie’s story will inspire others, especially young women, to follow their passions and dreams with confidence.
Callie’s achievement was met with a flood of congratulatory messages from fans and celebrities alike, celebrating her success. Her journey to becoming a pilot began in March 2022 when she moved to Australia to study aviation on the Gold Coast. By August, she was flying solo, and after passing her private pilot license exams in October, she achieved her first commercial pilot license in January 2023.
