Dubai’s Burj Al Arab seeks new marketing, communications director

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Budget: The role entails working closely with the hotel’s ExCom team to devise, execute, and fine-tune comprehensive marketing and communication plans. This includes handling annual commercial presentations, budgeting, and monitoring key performance indicators.

Direct to Consumer Marketing: Ensuring digital campaigns and the hotel’s online pages are in sync with the Jumeirah brand standards is pivotal.

Trade Marketing: Working alongside the Director of Sales, the role involves creating a trade marketing strategy in alignment with brand standards and commercial KPIs.

Loyalty & CRM: The director will exploit the Group’s CRM system and loyalty program to bolster hotel patron acquisition and retention strategies.

Talent: Nurturing and steering a robust marketing and communications team towards excellence will be key.

Agency Management: This involves reviewing third-party contracts and ensuring the hotel adheres to proper agency protocols.
