Zayn Malik kicked off Tinder after users accuse him of impersonating himself

After high-profile relationships and becoming a father, singer Zayn Malik tried his luck on dating apps, only to be kicked off for being mistaken as a fake profile using his own photos. In an interview with Nylon, the former One Direction star shared his experiences with Tinder, where users doubted his identity. “Everyone accused me of catfishing,” Malik said. “They’re like, ‘What are you using Zayn Malik’s pictures for?'”

The 31-year-old has decided to step away from dating apps and focus on single life and parenting. Reflecting on his past relationships, including an engagement to Perrie Edwards and a long-term relationship with model Gigi Hadid, with whom he shares a daughter, Malik values his newfound single status. “I’m really content and happy with being single for the first time in my life,” he told Nylon. “It’s probably wise to take your time before you fully invest in another human being as a lifelong partner.”

Malik, now residing on a farm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, enjoys a quieter life, engaging in hobbies like gardening and spending quality time with his daughter, Khai. “I got into [gardening] when I moved out here, probably about seven years ago. And now I get to share that experience with her,” Malik said in an earlier interview with L’Officiel.

As for his future, the singer’s main focus remains his daughter and ensuring she enjoys a grounded life. “I’m just trying to keep her grounded and enjoying the Earth, rather than all the noise that comes with it,” he concluded.
