A helicopter crash in Barangay San Miguel, Guimba, claimed the life of a 25-year-old pilot on Saturday afternoon, February 1.
Guimba police chief Lt. Col. George Calaud Jr. identified the victim as Julia Flori Po, a resident of Parañaque City.
According to a Manila Bulletin report, citing Calaud, Po had flown from Bulacan before heading to Nueva Ecija. Authorities recovered her remains at the crash site, a swampy area where the aircraft, identified as RPC-3424, went down.
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has launched an investigation, with its Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board leading the probe into the cause of the crash.
