World’s tallest hotel officially opens in Dubai Marina, with rates starting at AED 1,050

Dubai has added another record-breaking landmark to its skyline with the opening of Ciel Dubai Marina, Vignette Collection by IHG — now recognized as the world’s tallest hotel. The property welcomed guests on November 15, rising 82 floors and soaring 377 metres above one of the city’s most vibrant districts.

The hotel introduces one of the world’s highest infinity pools, offering sweeping views of Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, and the coastline. Its dramatic presence cements Dubai’s reputation for pushing architectural boundaries and elevating global luxury standards.

“We are delighted to welcome guests to Ciel Dubai Marina, Vignette Collection, a visionary landmark that redefines innovation, luxury, and creativity at every level,” said Heinrich Morio, Managing Director of Ciel Dubai Marina. “This extraordinary hotel reflects Dubai’s status as a global destination for tourism and business, offering an experience that is as elevated as it is unforgettable.”

With 1,004 rooms and suites designed around calm tones, natural textures, and flowing interiors, the hotel promises a multisensory stay that blends city energy with tranquil design elements. Guests will find a mix of standout amenities, including sky-high leisure spaces, destination dining venues, and curated experiences rooted in the property’s identity.

Eight dining concepts are spread across the tower, including the Mediterranean-driven West 13, Asian buffet destination East 14, and the artisanal bakery Risen Café. The hotel also features Tattu Dubai, a dramatic, multi-level modern Asian concept from the UK, spanning levels 74 to 81 with a restaurant, sky pool, and rooftop lounge offering 360-degree city views.

The spa, set to open in February 2026, occupies Level 61 and will offer advanced wellness rituals. A 24-hour gym overlooks the city skyline, and guests enjoy access to Soluna Beach Club on Palm Jumeirah. Families are supported with a Kids Club, menus for children, and dedicated play areas, while business guests have exclusive access to Nest — a Level 16 lounge with meeting spaces and skyline views.

Ciel Dubai Marina is managed by The First Group Hospitality and benefits from direct access to the Marina boardwalk, public transport, beaches, retail destinations, and nearby attractions such as Bluewaters and JBR. As part of IHG’s Vignette Collection, the hotel maintains its independent character while integrating global standards of luxury and lifestyle.

The property also participates in the collection’s hallmark initiatives. Its Morning Hydration Ritual offers wellness-focused infused waters for guests, while its partnership with the International Centre for Culinary Arts (ICCA) supports training for future chefs through workshops and career opportunities.

To mark its opening, the hotel is offering a limited-time package featuring breakfast for two, early check-in, late check-out, a complimentary room upgrade, and a 25% discount at select dining venues, with rates starting at AED 1,050. IHG One Rewards members can also earn double points on qualifying bookings.
