A woman in China took drastic revenge on her cheating boyfriend by creating a 58-page PowerPoint presentation detailing his infidelity. The presentation, which was shared on Weibo, quickly went viral, amassing over 300 million views.
The woman, who has remained anonymous, accused her ex-boyfriend, identified by his surname Shi, of engaging in sexual activities with multiple women, including sex workers. Shi, a management trainee at China Merchants Bank’s Shenzhen headquarters, reportedly paid between 2,500 yuan to 5,000 yuan (P19,700 to P39,000) during at least nine visits to sex workers from March to August 2024.
The couple started dating in October 2023, and although the woman initially believed Shi to be a “gentleman,” she discovered his affairs in June through explicit messages on chat apps. Despite forgiving him after his pleas for another chance, she uncovered further evidence of his infidelity, prompting her to publicly expose him.
On September 19, following the online exposure, Shi was terminated from his position at the bank and expelled from the Chinese Communist Party, according to Chinese media. The woman has also reported his illegal involvement with prostitutes to local authorities.
