A woman missing for three weeks was found buried and dismembered under her house in Lucena City, Quezon. According to an ABS-CBN News report, the crime was revealed on Monday afternoon after the suspect, the victim’s live-in partner, confessed to the police.
During the investigation, authorities discovered that there was another victim buried at the house in Barangay 5, murdered by the suspect and his partner last year.
According to the Lucena police report, the 29-year-old suspect admitted to killing his 28-year-old partner on June 30. He claimed they had an argument, leading him to stab her with an ice pick, which caused her death. To conceal the crime, he dismembered the body, placing the parts in three separate sacks and burying them under the house.
The suspect also confessed to another murder, revealing that the body of Analyn Orjejada, who was killed in March 2023, was buried at the same location. Orjejada’s body was placed in a plastic drum, buried under the house, and cemented over.
On Monday afternoon, police and SOCO personnel exhumed the remains of both victims. The suspect is currently detained at the Lucena custodial facility, facing multiple murder charges.
