A 64-year-old woman in Türkiye suffered a double misfortune after being struck by two different cars within just five minutes while crossing a pedestrian lane.
According to a report by GMA News Unang Balita on Monday, the incident, captured on CCTV, occurred in the Northwestern region of Türkiye.
The footage shows the woman being hit by a white car while crossing the street. She was thrown to the ground, and bystanders rushed to help her as the driver stopped.
Struggling to stand, the woman remained seated on the road when a red car hit her moments later, also injuring some of the people assisting her.
She was rushed to the hospital, where she remains in the intensive care unit (ICU).
