Authorities in Madinah have taken swift action following a viral video showing a woman physically attacking a security officer within the Prophet’s Mosque compound.
The woman reportedly tried to access a restricted walkway when the officer stopped her and asked her to take an authorized path. Instead of complying, she struck the officer in the face, as seen in the video that quickly spread online.
Madinah police confirmed on Saturday that the situation was resolved on the spot, and appropriate legal steps have since been taken against the woman in line with existing laws.
