When business becomes a platform for personal and collective growth

In a world where many chase success for titles or validation, one woman is proving that real fulfillment starts from within. Jocelyn Joven, the UAE Incharge Manager of Prathista Industries Limited, blends leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal growth into a purposeful life devoted to impact.

Jocelyn currently leads the UAE operations of Prathista Industries Limited, a global biotechnology company dedicated to eco-friendly and sustainable solutions. Her role is dynamic and challenging, yet deeply fulfilling. “As the UAE Incharge Manager, no two days are ever quite the same,” she shares with The Global Filipino Magazine. “That’s what makes it exciting.” Her mornings start with aligning local operations to the company’s global vision. She ensures that strategies remain regionally relevant and globally consistent, checking on milestones, regulatory matters, and collaborative efforts across departments. Afternoons shift to problem-solving, opportunity exploration, and mentoring her team.

She highlights, “I stay rooted in my coaching mindset because I believe empowered people build powerful outcomes.” Her leadership is shaped not only by corporate strategy but also by emotional intelligence, resilience, and empathy.

The multicultural nature of the UAE posed one of her earliest leadership challenges. “Leading diverse teams across different cultures required deep empathy, active listening, and adaptability,” she recalls. Rather than forcing alignment, she built unity through trust and purpose, creating a culture of respect and shared vision. These experiences continue to shape her collaborative and inclusive leadership style today.

The power of purpose

Jocelyn’s inspiring career is anchored in her deep belief in personal transformation. A life coach and motivational leader, she uses her voice to awaken potential in others. “Whether it’s through public speaking, mentoring, or business development, my mission is always to add value and create impact,” she says.

Her book, The Deepest Why of Life: Vol. 1, is a reflection of this mission. “It was inspired by a personal journey through deep introspection and a relentless search for meaning beyond success or materialism,” she explains. As a coach, she noticed that many of her clients were asking the same question: Why am I really here? That question became the heartbeat of her book.

“What I hope readers take away is this: beneath all the layers of identity, goals, and roles we play, there is a deeper truth calling us,” she says. “When we connect with that truth—our deepest why—we unlock a life of alignment, fulfillment, and peace.”

Her book has not only touched the lives of readers but also helped establish her thought leadership in the personal development space. It stands as an invitation for people to stop chasing purpose outside of themselves and start listening to the quiet voice within.

Entrepreneurial vision with heart

Jocelyn’s transition into entrepreneurship was fueled by a calling to build impact beyond inspiration. “I realized that true change requires more than motivation—it needs systems, leadership, and bold action,” she shares. It was this realization that led her to expand her platform beyond coaching and publishing.

Today, her work in business is just as heart-led as it is strategic. “What keeps me motivated in business is the why behind everything I do,” she says. “I’m not just driven by growth or numbers, but by the lives we touch.” To her, business is a vehicle for transformation—where strategy meets soul.

This mindset has helped her navigate skepticism and resistance during her early days as a coach and entrepreneur. “I overcame that by staying consistent with my message and letting my work speak through impact,” she shares. Writing her book also served as a turning point in building her credibility and expanding her reach.

Balancing multiple roles—manager, coach, entrepreneur, author—requires clarity, intention, and discipline. Jocelyn approaches each role with focused presence. “When I’m in a coaching session, I give 100% of myself to that person. When I’m leading in business, I’m strategic and focused. Writing is a space of reflection—a way to process and recharge,” she says.

She grounds herself in structured time management, clear boundaries, and daily practices that nourish her spirit. “Balance isn’t about doing everything at once; it’s about being fully aligned in whatever I do,” she explains. That alignment—anchored in purpose—is what keeps her effective, fulfilled, and grounded despite the demands of her many roles.

What’s next on the journey

Even with a full plate, Jocelyn continues to evolve. She is currently working on her second book, which will dive deeper into purpose, resilience, and conscious leadership. “It’s designed to speak to individuals who are not just searching for meaning, but ready to lead with it in their personal and professional lives,” she shares.

In her role at Prathista, she is exploring new sustainable and innovative solutions tailored to the UAE market. With fresh initiatives and partnerships on the horizon, she is focused on driving both growth and meaningful impact.

As a mentor, she is preparing to launch a new program for emerging leaders, especially women, who want to break through self-doubt and step into their authentic power. “Everything I do next is rooted in a single mission: to help people live and lead from their deepest why,” she says.

Through all her achievements, Jocelyn remains grounded in her message: Purpose is not something to chase—it’s something to remember. “Stop searching outside for what can only be found within,” she advises. “Purpose isn’t something we find by accident—it’s something we uncover through self-awareness, courage, and alignment.”

When asked what question people should ask themselves, she offers, “If nothing was holding me back—no fear, no doubt—what would I do with this life?” That question, she believes, often reveals a person’s true path.
