WhatsApp, the widely-used social media messaging platform, has introduced several innovative features to enhance user experience. Among these, the most notable is the ability for users to create stickers using artificial intelligence (AI). This feature allows stickers to be automatically generated based on the text entered by the user. However, it is currently limited to text in English and is available only in select countries.
According to the WhatsApp website, these AI-generated stickers will be added to the user’s sticker tray as soon as they are sent, making them readily shareable with contacts.
In addition to the AI stickers, WhatsApp has rolled out two more significant updates. Users now have the option to pin messages in a chat for set durations—24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. These pinned messages can be unpinned at any time, providing flexibility in managing chat highlights.
Furthermore, WhatsApp has introduced a ‘view once’ option for voice messages, adding an extra layer of security. This feature ensures that voice messages cannot be saved or forwarded, thus preserving the privacy and integrity of personal communications.
