Following yesterday’s tornado-like ‘dust devil’ storm and lightning, UAE residents can expect more rainfall in certain areas today. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast rain over eastern and western regions due to convective cloud formation.
The NCM also predicts fair to partly cloudy conditions on Thursday, with skies turning cloudy by night over western areas. Humidity levels are set to rise by Thursday night and Friday morning along coastal and internal areas, with light to moderate winds blowing, occasionally stirring dust.
Temperatures will range from 19°C in mountainous areas to 41°C in internal regions, with humidity levels between 15 and 90 percent. The sea is expected to remain calm to moderately rough in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
