In a bid to enhance efficiency and convenience, Brigadier Mansour Al Qargaoui, Director of the General Department for Administrative Affairs at Dubai Police, has announced the automation of the “To Whom It May Concern” certificate service on the official Dubai Police website.
This particular service caters to vehicles damaged by natural disasters, a pertinent issue given the current extreme weather conditions and heavy rainfall experienced in the country.
Previously accessible through the Dubai Police smart app and website, the process necessitated users to apply online and subsequently present their vehicle for inspection at the nearest police station to verify the cause of damage. Upon verification, an electronic “To Whom It May Concern” certificate would be issued.
With the service now automated, Brigadier Al Qargaoui elaborated that customers no longer need to physically bring their vehicles to the police station. Instead, they can simply visit the Dubai Police website, apply for the certificate package service, select the ‘To Whom It May Concern’ service for natural disasters, upload photos of their damaged vehicle, and expect to receive the certificate electronically within one to two business days for a fee of 95 AED. For further inquiries, customers can contact 901.
