Vice President Sara Duterte has been spotted backing the senatorial aspirations of Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar, appearing alongside her and her father, billionaire businessman and former senator Manny Villar, in what appears to be a campaign-related shoot.
A photo posted by former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque has sparked online chatter, showing Villar and Duterte flashing the signature Duterte fist bump. The caption read, “Politics is addition after all,” hinting at a brewing alliance.
Villar is running under the administration-aligned Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas slate. As the image gains traction online, the Office of the Vice President said it would release an official statement after Holy Week.
