A new luxury vessel entered Dubai’s competitive yachting scene this month as the Vogue Yacht was formally unveiled during a launch gathering held on December 12, drawing a select mix of diplomatic figures, business leaders, and media personalities.
The Vogue Yacht is jointly owned by Sunrise Yacht Rental and Rising Moon Yacht Rental, two charter companies operating within Dubai’s marine leisure sector. The collaboration brings together their existing charter experience under a single luxury offering aimed at private cruises, events, and high-end clientele navigating Dubai’s iconic waterfront routes.
The launch was attended by Vice Consul Paola Belle Ebora, alongside Maryam Delim, publisher of The Global Filipino Magazine, whose presence underscored the event’s strong engagement with the Filipino and international community in the UAE.
Among the distinguished guests was Major Dr. Omar Almarzoogi, who holds the title of Ambassador Extraordinary and carries an honorary doctorate in sociology from the American University. Almarzoogi is also recognized internationally as an Olympic handball referee, serves as president of the Asian Dueball Federation, and leads the Omar Al Marzooqi Group of Companies.
Raed Chmeissi, founder and president of the Fakhr Zayed Volunteer Team, was also present, reflecting the event’s outreach to civic and volunteer leadership circles. The gathering further included Sahar Assaf, a skin expert and specialist known for her work as a beauty consultant, trainer, and adviser with the German company Dr. Schrammeck Treatments, with professional ties spanning the UAE, France, Germany, and Lebanon.
Representing institutional leadership was Saeed Bin Ali, managing director of the Private Office of Sheikh Maktoum Suhail Al Maktoum, while the communications and creative industries were represented by Mohammed Al-Janahi, widely known as Zico the Global, who works in advertising and public relations.
The Vogue Yacht launch marked the official entry of the vessel into Dubai’s charter market, positioning it as a new option for luxury maritime experiences operated under the combined stewardship of Sunrise Yacht Rental and Rising Moon Yacht Rental.
