Koronadal City police have arrested well-known vlogger Jeren Jude Bacas Nebit, 28, popularly known online as “Thailand Girl (TG),” in connection with an online libel case.
PLtCol Peter Pinalgan, chief of Koronadal Police Station, confirmed that Nebit was taken into custody on August 8, 2025, at around 11:56 a.m. in Southwind Subdivision, Barangay Morales, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
The arrest was carried out by a joint team from the Koronadal City Police Station, San Pedro Police Station in Davao City, and the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit (RACU) 12. It stemmed from a warrant issued on May 20, 2025, by Judge Clarissa M. Superable-Develos of the RTC Branch 52 in Davao City.
Authorities said the vlogger was informed of their constitutional rights and is now under police custody, awaiting the court’s commitment order.
