The Philippine Embassy in the United Arab Emirates has officially welcomed Rene B. Fajardo as its new Consular Assistant and Attaché, bringing with him a wealth of experience from over 15 years of service with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Before his new post in Abu Dhabi, Fajardo held a key role at the Office of the Secretary at the DFA and previously served at the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong. During his assignment in Hong Kong, he played an important role in passport services and community outreach, including overseeing the release of the Consulate’s first 10-year valid Philippine passport following policy updates in 2018.
Known for his professionalism and dedication, Fajardo also represented the Consulate in partnerships with institutions like Li Po Chun United World College, reflecting his commitment to strengthening ties between Filipinos abroad and their host communities.
