US Embassy in the Philippines to open new visa application center

The U.S. Embassy in the Philippines will open a new Visa Application Center (VAC) and introduce an updated visa appointment system starting September 28, 2024. Located at Parqal Building 8, Level 3, Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard in Parañaque City, the new VAC will handle photo capture and fingerprint scanning for immigrant and nonimmigrant visa applicants prior to their interviews at the U.S. Embassy on Roxas Boulevard.

Applicants with visa interview appointments scheduled on or after September 28 will be required to book a separate appointment at the VAC through the new online system, which will feature a secure and user-friendly interface. The new system will be accessible on ustraveldocs.com/ph. Those with existing appointments before September 28 will not be affected by the change and can proceed directly to the embassy.

The VAC will offer appointment slots from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, and from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturdays. Passports and documents can also be picked up or dropped off at the VAC without an appointment from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays.

In addition to the new VAC, the embassy will expand its call center services for U.S. citizens in the Philippines. Starting September 28, a call center will be available for general inquiries related to American Citizen Services (ACS), such as passports, citizenship, and notarial services. U.S. citizens can reach the consular hotlines at (+632) 7792-8988, (+632) 8548-8223, or (703) 520-2235 for callers from the U.S.

The embassy will also launch a dedicated website and email for ACS services on September 28, while inquiries unrelated to passports or notarial services should still be directed to ACSInfoManila@state.gov.
