Dubai Police, through its Economic Security Center of Dubai (ESCD) and in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority, arrested a man who had been illegally performing hair transplant procedures inside his apartment.
Authorities said the suspect, who had no medical licence or proper training, endangered public health by conducting surgeries without following safety protocols. Investigators discovered that he was advertising his services through videos posted on a dedicated social media page.
A raid team found that the three-bedroom apartment had been partially converted into a makeshift clinic. While two rooms were occupied by family members, the third was being used for the unauthorized medical operations. Police recovered instruments and equipment typically used for hair transplants.
The apartment was sealed off, and legal measures have been initiated against the suspect. Dubai Police urged residents to avoid unlicensed medical practices that put lives at risk and emphasized the importance of seeking care only from approved health facilities. They also called on the public to report malpractice cases through official police platforms.
