Last night, several areas of the UAE experienced severe storms, with the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasting more rain for today. Residents are advised to have their umbrellas at hand due to the likelihood of convective clouds forming, which may lead to further rainfall, particularly over the coastal, northern, eastern, and some internal regions.

The tempestuous weather caused flooding on the streets of Ajman, where the Storm Centre distributed videos of the treacherous conditions. Additionally, parts of Dubai received rainfall last night, with the NCM recording showers in Muhaisnah and Al Twar around 2:30 am.
Today’s weather conditions include light to moderate Northwesterly winds that may intensify at times, contributing to blowing dust and sand under cloudy skies. Despite the storms, temperatures are set to peak at 35ºC in some parts of the country. In the emirates of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, mercury levels will hover around 31ºC, although they could drop to a cooler 24ºC. Mountainous regions may experience a significant chill, with temperatures descending to 12ºC.
